Content Licenses

Generor offers two distinct licenses for generated content. The license type is determined at the time of creation and is displayed on each creation's page.

Generor Open License (Default)

License Code: GO-1.0

Content created under the Generor Open License is free for everyone to use. We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

Use, copy, and distribute the creations without restriction.
Modify, remix, and adapt the creations to create derivative works.
Commercial Use: Use the creations for personal and commercial purposes, including resale.
No Attribution Required: You are not required to credit the original creator or Generor.

Important: Creations under this license are public and available to all users. No exclusive rights are granted—multiple users may use, modify, and distribute the same creation.

Why Open? This enables community features like ordering prints of public designs, using shared assets in your projects, and building upon others' creations. If you need exclusive rights, use the Generor Exclusive License.

Generor Exclusive License

License Code: GE-1.0

Content created under the Generor Exclusive License grants the original creator exclusive usage rights. Under this license:

Exclusive Rights: Only the original creator may use, copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the creation.
Commercial Use: The creator retains full commercial rights to the creation.
Restricted Access: The creation is not publicly accessible and cannot be used by other users.
Transferable: The creator may grant usage rights to others at their discretion.

How to obtain: Exclusive licensing requires Private Mode to be enabled in your account settings at the time of creation.

Identifying the License

Each creation on Generor displays its applicable license. Look for the license badge or code (GO-1.0 or GE-1.0) on the creation's page. If no license is displayed, the creation defaults to the Generor Open License.

Nature of AI-Generated Content

All content on Generor is generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Copyright Status Uncertainty

The copyright status of AI-generated content is an evolving area of law that varies by jurisdiction. In some regions, purely AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection. Generor makes no representations or warranties regarding the copyrightability of generated content. The licenses granted herein apply only to the extent that Generor has rights to grant such licenses.

Potential Third-Party Rights

Due to the nature of AI generation, creations may inadvertently:

Resemble existing copyrighted works, images, or creative content
Contain elements similar to trademarks, logos, or brand identities
Reproduce patterns, styles, or content from the AI's training data
Depict likenesses of real people, characters, or protected personas

Neither license grants any rights to use, sell, or distribute content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. If generated content resembles protected third-party content, you do not have rights to use it regardless of the license displayed.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

Verification: Reviewing generated content before use to ensure it does not infringe on third-party rights
Due Diligence: Conducting appropriate searches or clearances before commercial use
Compliance: Ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations
Consequences: Any legal consequences arising from your use of generated content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Generor, its operators, affiliates, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of generated content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Content Reporting

If you discover content that:

Contains your copyrighted material or trademark
Infringes on your intellectual property rights
Violates any applicable laws

Please report it to us immediately. We will review and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content from public access.

No Warranty

THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. GENEROR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OR THAT CONTENT IS FREE FROM THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS
WARRANTIES THAT CONTENT IS COPYRIGHTABLE OR PROTECTABLE
WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENEROR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR GENERATED CONTENT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE OR WHETHER GENEROR WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
